Corporation Screws over Powerseller with Negative Feedback

Yep, that's right! Looks like Clear Water Inc. located in South Plainfield New Jersey is taking advantage of ebay's horrible feedback system!

The buyer with the username clear-water-inc will win auction items and not pay and then post negative feedback.

One Powerseller that has over 2400 positive feedback and no negatives was so shocked to learn of the first negative from a NON PAYING Buyer.

A quote from a Powerseller: "I am so shocked that ebay allows such a thing. I have been selling on ebay for years and have never been treated so unfairly. I had 100% positive feedback and all of my star ratings were 4.8 and above. The sellers cannot even leave a buyer a negative anymore and the buyers take advantage. For ebay not to remove this unjust negative caused me to take my listings off ebay and sell eleswhere. Ebay just doesn't "get it". They need to come to terms and see that the "sellers" are ebay's customers. I'm just sickened by this, the buyer didn't even purchase and pay for the item".

Banned Lollishop Vendors are Getting Money Back From Paypal!!

It appears that Miss Sadie Lou went on a banning rampage and started to ban a lot of sellers on her awful site.

After reading the Lollishops Support Group, I see that a lot of vendors are filing reversal claims via Paypal to recoup their subscription fees.

As stated on the Lollishops site, all listings will remain active for a total of 6 months. Sadie has canceled listings and pocketed money. She did not allow the listings to last their full 6 month term.

Some of the vendor's paid for their subscriptions in late November. Paypal only allows 45 days after a transaction to file for reversal. One vendor spoke with a representative of Paypal on the phone and was told that since the term was a 6 month obligation that they will still register the claims. If Paypal denies the claims then vendors are able to claim their fees from their credit card company as long as it's within 90 days.

I wonder if this will bring Lollishops to bankruptcy?? I hope Sadie has a good attorney because she is definitely going to need one.

Is Lollishops infringing on Trademark?

I came across a Lollishop seller support group and found some interesting reading..

Don't think the name "Lollishop" is original...There is a Lollie Shop based in Australia that was operating long before Lollishop.com.

Now I've contacted the owner of Lollie Shop regarding trademark misuse and I'm anxiously awaiting his response.

I'm not sure if lollishops registered a trademark because I went on http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=searchss&state=qpldpl.1.1 and found nothing about it.

If anyone has info on the lollishop trademark please feel free to comment.

Is Lollishops Dive Bombing?

After tons of complaints and hardly any sales from Lollishops, vendors are starting to close up shop.

Many of the vendors are complaining of high fees and unprofessional behavior shown by the owner.

A lot of vendors are also complaining about the favoritism shown by the owner of other vendors.

Lollishop vendors are very worried about the lack of experience the owner has. Some say she got way in over her head. From the way the site looks, people are saying stolen pics from polyvore is being used to make banners and avatars to numerous complaints on the lack of security the site has.

It seems that several Lollishop vendors were banned from the site after participating in the etsy forums. I find it quite amusing that the owner gets so upset when people talk about Lollishops in the etsy forums when she in fact USED the etsy forums to recruit the vendors! I guess no one is allowed to express an opinion until I opened this blog. So if any pissed off Lollishop vendors want to express an opinion, go right ahead! I'll make your comments public! Vendors should be able to voice an opinion about another venue. It helps in making a decision in whether or not to sell there.

There were a few discussions on the etsy message boards regarding the issues and the threads were closed. But ah yes!!! I found them! Kind of ironic how the owner completely shut down her private and public Ning sites after all this evolved. Here are the closed threads.:
